Happy 1st Birthday Soultiply! Check out the TOP 5 POSTS from Our First Year... Wow, I just can’t believe it. Can someone send me a virtual pinch and wake me up from this dream?

Soultiply turns 1 year old today and I couldn’t be prouder!

To think that a year ago today, I was sitting in that grimy subway car, trying to juggle 3 different jobs, when I had an idea that shook my world. One moment I was floundering, wondering what I was going to do with my life , and the next I was furiously scribbling down ideas for my newest, passion-filled endeavor. (You can find the full story here and .) That’s all it takes – one moment of pure inspiration. The rest is easy; the rest you can handle. That’s why they say, “the rest is history”…

I hope you’ve grown a lot this past year and I hope that Soultiply was a part of your journey. Lord knows I’ve grown a tremendous amount since I started Soultiply – I hardly recognize the person that I was merely a year ago today.

This year has been filled with ups and downs, times of stillness , and times of triumph. If anyone would have told me how difficult it would be to design, build, and maintain an online community, I probably would have chosen to curl up with my favorite blanket and take a nap instead!

I’ve started my Soultiply Life Coaching practice , I’ve written to you from the deepest parts of my being, I’ve been featured on some of my favorite websites, (like here and here for example!), and I’ve shared with you my authentic soul.

I’ve received emails, texts, and Facebook messages full of positive encouragement and notes of gratitude for the lessons and stories that I’ve featured here on the blog. And I want you to know that every single message brings me the absolute greatest amount of happiness imaginable. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. You guys sure know how to make me smile!

And although I look back at this year with gratitude and , I also realize that this is just the beginning. I know because I’ve only written 50 of the 493 blog post ideas that I have stored on my hard drive. As of today, I’ve only crossed off 62 of the 849 items I have on my Soultiply MASTER TO-DO LIST.

Ain’t that MASTER PLAN a beauty?!

This year has only tickled the surface of my life’s work. And without you reading this right now, none of this work would mean a thing. And for that, I am immensely grateful.

Although the Soultiply blog officially launched late March of 2014, the idea of Soultiply celebrates its birthday today.

And what better way to celebrate than with our 50 th blog post!?

(I swear I didn’t even plan it that way…we just happened to hit 50 posts on our 1st anniversary! The Universe provides! )

So to celebrate, I want to take a look at the top 5 blog posts from the past year and give you the behind-the-scenes scoop on it all.

I’m not afraid to admit that it wasn’t all flowers and sunshine – Soultiply experienced some flops (Anyone remember the ? Or the Mind, Body & Soultiply series ? Me neither …) Not all ideas are winners!

But for this round-up, I’m going to showcase the most viewed and shared posts on the site, some personal favorites, as well as some posts that have led to substantial growth for the Soultiply brand.

And let me tell you, it is SO DIFFICULT to only pick 5, so I encourage you to browse the blog to your heart’s content – maybe you’ll find your own favorite!

Maybe you are new to Soultiply or maybe you’ll find yourself re-discovering old favorites – either way, sit back, relax and check out the Top 5 of Soultiply’s First Year !

ONE: The Sexy Soulmate Series

Okay, okay…this is a series of posts – but it still counts!

Maybe I’m biased, but I freakin’ loved the Sexy Soulmate Series. I had a blast reflecting upon the beginning stages of my relationship with my soulmate of almost 5 years, and it was so amazing to be able to share and teach what I have learned with others who are longing for the same type of deep, soulmate love.

Plus, I have to give some MAJOR kudos to my boyfriend for this series. Not ONCE did he complain that I was sharing the details of our relationship. He’s such a tremendous supporter of Soultiply (he has read EVERY blog post of mine before it goes live!), and I felt called to write this series because I know that every person on this planet deserves to be loved in the way that he loves me. And every person deserves to share their love story, and to show others that if they begin by loving themselves, they will be on track to find the romantic love of a lifetime.

So if I had to pick, I would say “Sexy Soulmate Series PART TWO: Prepping for a Soulmate is my favorite post of the series. I know deep in my heart that prepping for a soulmate allowed me to be open to the possibility of finding my guy, and sharing this experience with YOU!

TWO: Positivity, Please! : Protecting your Energy from Good Ole’ Debbie Downer

This post was the first article to explode on Reddit, and now I know why!

I love this post because it takes you through 3 solid exercises that you can use to help manage your energy around negative people.

I can be a bit quirky sometimes, and in my free time I like to come up with head-games to help handle difficult situations. When I was writing this post, I was getting very annoyed with a certain person in my life and I found myself using these strategies on a daily basis. I decided to write the article because I figured other people might find some use in these tools as well. And that’s what I LOVE about the internet – you are never alone. There is ALWAYS someone else out there who is experiencing the same thing as you.

I was overwhelmed by the response and how these exercises have gone on to help so many people. My favorite comment was from a student who thanked me and said that they were going to use The Shield exercise at school. , I felt so thankful that I could help a young person manage their energy towards others in a positive light.

THREE: It Only Takes a Moment: Using the Manageable Moments Exercise to Jump Start your Dreams

I love this post because it comes straight from my coaching arsenal . This exercise is the same tool that I use with some of my coaching clients , and it was met with tremendous success. The goal of the blog is to help as many people as possible, so I figured that if I took the time and outlined the technique in easy-to-understand terms, people could experience a piece of real coaching homework firsthand.

The results have been astounding. I’ve had people from all over the world share their success stories with me, ask for advice, and follow their heart and enroll in Soultiply life coaching programs so that they could continue their journey. It’s a keeper!

FOUR: The Best Meditation Techniques for Absolute Beginners

This post was an absolute blast to create. I loved doing the first-hand research so that I could share my authentic experience with you.

And the amazing thing about this post was the connections and friendships that I made with the very companies that I was reviewing! After the post, Crystal Cure shared it on their “Using Gemstones and Crystals in Meditation” page and Tiny Devotions (the creator of my very favorite mala beads!) tweeted the article to their lovely audience.

It was an amazing feeling to interact with the companies that make meditation such a joy – it made me realize that we all have our unique ways of enhancing the human experience through our work. I’m just so lucky that Soultiply is mine!

FIVE: 5 Tricks to Get Out of Your Own Way

I had SO many posts that I contemplated using for this last slot, but I decided upon this oldie-but-goodie.

I picked it because I feel like it will let you into a glimpse of what is in store for Soultiply in the year ahead.

This post has really resonated with a lot of people, and I think I know why. We love control. We love to reach new heights, achieve new dreams, and to see payoff for our hard work. We know deep down inside that external obstacles can defeated. It’s from the accomplishment of that goal that we find a true peace of mind.

But when we are faced with an internal obstacle, or a fear or doubt within ourselves that we don’t know how to fix – that can feel scary. When we get in our own way – that’s when we feel the greatest amount of guilt and sadness. That’s when we begin to think the CRAZY, ABSOLUTELY NUTS, FALSE thought that we are not good enough.

And I love this post because even though it’s simple, it reminds you that it’s time that you’ve won . It reminds you that it takes someone as creative, independent, sharp, and brilliant as YOU to fight your inner demons and WIN.

And I love the idea of exploring that thought even deeper this year – I want to share with you even MORE ways how you can get out of your own way and make things happen. Because the external AND internal world are no match for you.

Again, I thank you for joining me on this wild ride!

Want a little clue about the direction we are taking in the upcoming weeks? I’ll give you a hint!

Put down your reading glasses and grab your ear buds, because Station Soultiply is heading for you soon!
