The senior shopping hour at Costco will end on July 26, 2021. The chain announced last week that they are keeping senior hours but cutting back to two days a week.
The COVID-19 Senior Hours
The retailer posted on its COVID-19 updates page that the reserved shopping time at most clubs for senior shoppers, members with disabilities or those who are immunocompromised will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The number of new coronaviruses infections is increasing in all 50 states and hospitalizations are increasing at an alarming rate according to data released last week. Walmart, Target, and other retailers are still promoting senior hours on their websites.
Criteria and hours are different by location. Trader Joe's has cut senior hours at most of its stores. The designated hour for senior shoppers, members with disabilities or people who are immunocompromised is held twice a week from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at warehouses in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

In June, the company began to bring back free samples to a small number of its US locations. The samples are kept behind shields.
