A New Acquisition of the US Health Care System
On July 13, 2006 the company announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the company that operates the largest retail-based health clinics in the US. Board-certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants are trained to diagnose and treat common family illnesses such as throat, bronchial ear, eye, and sinus, and provide prescriptions when clinically appropriate. Flu shots, tetanus, and Hepatitis A are some of the vaccinations that MinuteClinic offers.
Resumes in Computer Science
A resume is preferred in both the US and Canada. Americans and Canadians only use a CV when applying for jobs abroad or if they are looking for an academic or research-oriented position.
The Health Hub
HealthHUBs are inside of select pharmacy locations and offer a variety of additional services. HealthHUB locations offer a wide range of medical equipment and technology. Care Concierges are experts in HealthHub products and services. Nurse practitioners and Physician assistants can now get help from MinuteClinic locations that have hired Medical assistants, registered nurses, and licensed practical and Vocational nurses.
Reverse-chronological Resumes
Write your work experience in reverse-chronological order, with your most recent position at the top. When writing your experience, focus on your achievements rather than your responsibilities. If you can back up your claims, you should use the job posting's "keywords" as your work history.
Your educational achievements should be listed in reverse-chronological order. If you are a recent graduate, you can include your high school transcript, but only if it is relevant to the job. Your grade point average becomes less important once you have more years of work experience.
References in the American CV

Page Size and Length in Job Searches with Multiple Language Skills
The page size is the same as page length, but it is a minor thing to note. The US and Canada use letter size, whereas the UK and most other countries use A4 paper. Multilingual skills are important for applying for jobs in countries with multiple official languages.
If you have language abilities, you should include them on your CV. If you're applying for jobs in a country where the language is not your native language, it's important to provide a clear, accurate assessment of your abilities, unless the job description clearly states that language skills will not be needed. Spelling differences in the UK, U.S, Australia, Canada and other English-speaking countries are important when applying for jobs in those countries.
What is a CV?
The length, purpose and layout are three major differences between CVs and resume. A resume is a short summary of your skills and experience, a CV is more detailed and can stretch well beyond two pages. Many jobseekers are abandoning the traditional curriculum vitae and using modern methods to communicate their skills and qualifications to prospective employers as the global job market is becoming increasingly competitive. It typically takes the form of a business card, listing your name, job title and contact details one side and a snapshot of your biggest selling points and prominent achievements on the other.
An Effective American Resume
If you are a native speaker of English or Spanish, you should create an international resume that is more in line with your interests in order to improve your chances of getting an interview. Depending on the length of your career, American resume are usually 1 to 2 pages. People with limited experience can use just one page to describe their qualifications.
People with more experience may need two or three pages to cover their entire career history. Hard skills related to the job and soft skills related to the job are included. The job description usually states the hard skills are required.
The soft skills help you stand out from the crowd. CVs that are used throughout the world do not typically include references. If an employer needs references before hiring you, they will request them after you have progressed through the interview process and are being considered as one of the final candidates.
If you follow the guidelines, you can write an effective American resume. You need to convince the employer that you can help them achieve their goals. The goal is to get the recruiters attention and invite you to an interview.
A resume is the correct format to use when you want to summarize your qualifications, by providing a brief history of your employment and education. Professionals in technical fields and academia can use CVs. Business professionals prefer resume writing.
Protecting Your Credit Card from Scammers
Identity thieves and scam artists are finding new ways to get your information, making it more difficult to protect your credit card numbers. Credit cards have CV numbers on them to protect against unauthorized use. The CV number is printed on the card.
If you keep the card in your possession and keep your CV number private, scam artists will not be able to use your card number to make unauthorized charges. The CV number is not included in the magnetic strip and can't be used to remotely learn your credit card number. The CV number is not visible on your bills or credit card statements, so it is not accessible to a thief.
The card owner and authorized user can only use the card to make online or other "card-not-present" transactions. The CV number identifies you to online or phone merchants as the authorized user of the credit card number being used for a purchase. If you scratch the CV number off the card, be sure to keep it safe or record it in a safe place so you can still use it.
