eBay Invoice Charges
If your account balance was over Rs. 25.00 during the billing period, eBay will only create and send you an invoice. You can see your account activity and balance when it is less than Rs. 25.00. Service Tax and Education Cess are charged on the total invoice amount.
The total amounts and taxes are shown in the Summary section. The Taxes for Fees and Credits section is displayed at the bottom of each section. The summary section has the same amount of taxes as the sections.
If your invoice date is the last day of the month, you will be charged selling fees during the month of May. You will receive an invoice between June 5th and June 7th, and your payment will be due on June 30th. If you don't pay your balance by the due date, you will be charged a late payment charge of 1.5% of the balance past due or the highest amount permitted by applicable law.
You will be charged interest the day after the payment is due. You may be responsible for collection costs if your account is suspended. If your seller's account is suspended, any amount due on your account will be due and payable immediately.

You should work out what those are and then set the bidding or BIN price for the item at the lowest you are happy to accept and still make a profit.
Cost of Selling an Item
The cost of selling an item is based on a number of factors, including the type of item you sell, how your listing is set up, and whether or not you have an eBay Store.
VAT on eBay
The money you pay in taxes goes to many places. It helps the economy to remain strong and also help raise the standard of living by paying salaries of government workers. VAT is charged on most goods and services that businesses in the UK provide.
