Reddit Flair: A Free App for Users to Improve the Experience
One of the free features that give users a better experience is the Reddit Flair. In busy subreddits where posts pop up literally every few minutes, the option to only show those of interest makes it so convenient.
Post Flavor: Emojis for Community Use
Post flair is a system that you can use for your community. Post flair allows community members to make a visual flag. It can be used to help categorize post content types, flag content about a certain sub-section of your community, tag a post with removal reasons, or anything else you think might be useful.
You can add up to 350 templates. The flair text is where you enter the text for the user flair and any other emojis you want to display inside. Clicking on the face icon will allow you to select the emojis.
The Huffman-Ohanian Site
The founding of the site was done by Steve Huffman, Steve Ohanian and adam Ohanian. It is a website that brought together online communities of different tastes. Users can submit texts, photo and link posts, which are voted on by other users. The different communities are called subreddits.
The karma of the moment
The opportunity for healing and balancing in the present is what karma is at once. It is a balancing action that gives us chances to learn spiritual lessons in life circumstances. Some users have more upvotes than others.
There is no relationship between upvotes and karma. The more upvotes a post gets, the less it is worth. People with a post that has a score of 30k will get around 6-7k karma.
The top 1000 commenters have a minimum karma score. The minimum karma score for the top 1000 posters is 5,400. The top twenty in comment karma are over 500,000.
Link Flavour: Using User Flavor to Help Categorate and Identify Topics
User flair can be used to highlight specific areas of knowledge. It can be used in a variety of ways, depending on what your community wants. Link flair can be used to help categorize post content types, flag content about a certain sub-section of your community, tag a post with removal reasons, or anything else you think might be useful.
Narrowing the Search by Location
To narrow your search by location, you can add a location to the search bar and use the pre-populated string to find it.
The scalar field theory of the superstring
The post is marked as OC to let people know that it is original. Something that isn't a repost, isn't another share, but something new and potentially exciting. OC tagging can be enabled in your advanced community settings.
User flair for your community
You can choose to enable user flair for your community. A flag is created by user flair next to a community member's account. It can be used to highlight areas of knowledge that someone has.
Vote Manipulation in Subreddit
Vote manipulation is a bannable offense, and it is a term for trying to influence the score of a comment or post. More people will view or read comments with high scores because they are displayed at the top of the page. Most of the subreddit moderators are not employees of the site.
The names of the moderators are marked with a green shield when they post or comment on the site. The administrators of the site are employed by the site. They have many similar powers as moderators.
The Community Network
The core content of the network of communities is posts from its users. Users can comment on other people's posts. Users can cast positive or negative votes for each post on the site, and the site also has called upvotes and downvotes.
Reddit: A Discussion Board for General Public Interests
If you are looking for news, debate, answers or just fun about anything you can image, you should go to the discussion board on the internet called the Reddit. The forums on the site are mostly for registered users to talk about anything from news to pop culture, to technology, to comics, to film, to literature, to the weird things in the world. There is a search field at the top of the page.
You will find it if you enter any topic you want. You need to register and use the topic in your settings if you are looking for a topic. They can comment on other people's submissions by clicking on the open comment field.
You can reply to people's comments by clicking reply. The default tab is "Hot", which is a view of submissions with the highest scores over a period of time, if you are not registered. The score is determined by subtracting the votes from the others.
Reddiquette says that you should be a civilized person and remember that there is always a human at the other side of the screen. No self-promotion or spam is allowed. You will be fine if you just be respectful of others and be aware of what you do.
You lose points on your global karma if someone votes negatively to one of your posts. You shouldn't worry about that. The purpose of the site is not to accumulate karma points but to learn, have fun, waste time or add to the conversation in a funny way.
Linking in Community Forums
If you want to have more control over which domains can be linked in your community, you can use the link domain tool to restrict certain domains or only allow posts from a specific set of domains. You can place no restrictions on the domains linked in your community.
