Under the new structure, five lines on Start would be $150, compared to $200 if all five were on a Go plan.
While it is more competitive on price, it is still not as affordable as some of its competitors. The cheapest single-line unlimited plan offered by AT&T is only $10 cheaper than the Start plan from Verizon. The differences are tied to their names.

The Start unlimited plan has blazing fast 4GLTE data speeds and are only slowed down during times of heavy network congestion. Mobile hotspot speeds are 600 kbps and videos are at DVD quality. T-Mobile has a better mid-band 5G coverage than does Verizon. The most useful band for average consumers is the mid-band, as it is faster than the low-band has better range than the high-band.
