Option Care: A New Pharmacy in Walgreens
Walgreens sold the business after completing its merger with Alliance Boots at the end of last year. The merged company is looking to cut costs by the end of the year and will focus on its retail business. Mastrapa said that Option Care has a 10 percent market share in the industry.
Walgreens acquired an infusion services business called Option Care in 2007, and quickly built the business. Mastrapa said it made sense to go back to a familiar brand. The company has a work force of 5,000 and has 92 pharmacies.
How Much Can You Make?
How much will you make? It depends on your position, location and hours worked. The average salary for a sales associate is $11 per hour.
For a pharmacy technician it's 14 dollars per hour, and for a cashier it's 10 dollars per hour. You will also get an employee discount. You can expect to save 25% on Walgreen products.
OTC Objects
There are OTC items that can be purchased. To use your OTC card in store, simply purchase eligible items and use the card as your form of payment, or to place an order online, sign in to your account or create a new account on Walmart.com, add eligible items to your cart.

All but six states have Walgreens virtual doctor visits. Delaware, Georgia, Louisiana, North Dakota, New Jersey and Vermont are currently included. The service should be available in those areas soon.

The card has few benefits, but it does have access to your credit score, the ability to redeem rewards instantly at Walgreens, and a $0 fraud liability. The myWalgreens card will give you Walgreens Cash rewards on eligible purchases, 5% on other eligible Walgreens brands and pharmacy purchases, 3% on eligible grocery and health and wellbeing purchases, and 1% everywhere Mastercard is accepted.
A card can earn rewards. Walgreens cash rewards are valid for a rolling 12 month period. The myWalgreens card can be used at Walgreens stores, online at Walgreens.com or via the Walgreens app.
