Polar bears in the snow

Animals are adapted to live in certain conditions. Animals living in hot climates must have special features to protect them from the extreme cold. The polar bears have white fur so that they are not easily seen in the snow.

It protects them from the outside world. It helps them catch their prey. They have two layers of fur to protect them from the cold.

They have a fat layer on their skin. Students should solve the previous year question papers to get good marks in the exam. The students can determine the difficulty level of the questions by solving the previous year question papers.

Weather Forecasting

The weather is the current condition of a place with respect to the atmospheric pattern determining the pressure, precipitation and hotness of that area. It is determined by a number of variables. The weather is influenced by the sun.

The climate is the average weather pattern over a period of 25 years. Animals adapt to the climate of a place. Animals may migrate to different places to escape the cold and harsh conditions in the polar region.

The favorable climate and hospitable environment are what makes animals migrate to the tropics. The atmosphere is the current state at a particular time. Weather can change very quickly at times.

Climate is a taken over period of time, whereas weather is a daily affair. The amount of rain an area is affected by winds. The amount of rain a location gets is related to the amount of water they are carrying.

The winds can move air above the ocean onto a continent, or they can move air from the continent to the ocean. Air mass is similar to altitude. The air is warm and clear when it is under high pressure.

The frog and reindeer of tropical rainforests

Tropical rainforests are thick forests which grow near the equator and the climate is very hot and humid. India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, Republic of Congo, Uganda, and Nigeria are some of the countries where tropical rainforest can be found. migratory birds migrate from cold regions to warmer regions in winter and return after the winter is over

The Siberia crane is one of the most common migratory birds that comes to India every year. When winter sets in Siberia, the crane flies thousands of kilometres and comes to warmer places in India such as Sultanpur. The climate in Siberia becomes favorable when the winter ends.

The wind flow and low temperature help the birds in their flight to fly high up in the sky. Reindeer is a mammal that migrates. Reindeers live in herds in the cold, northern regions of North America where they feed on grass and shrubs in the summer.

Reindeers don't get any food when the snow is buried in grass and shrubs. Reindeers migrate to the south where they get enough food. They return to the original habitat in the north after a few months when the snow starts melting.

The red-eyed tree frog is a species that lives in the tropics. The red-eyed frog has a green back and creamy underside. It has big eyes.

Climate in the United States

A climate is the average weather over a few years. The weather would be changed in the matter of hours. The environment takes a long time to change.

Over the past few years it has risen at an alarming rate. The atmosphere is basically the way it is behaving, with respect to life and human activities. The weather is the daily conditions of the atmosphere in terms of temperature, precipitation, humidity, brightness, cloudiness, visibility, wind, and atmospheric pressure.

The weather can change within minutes or hours and it can also change within days and seasons. The environment around it is getting warmer and warmer by the day. The glaciers have started to melt, greenhouse gases are clouding the world, and the sea levels are rising with the approach of global warming.

Cyclone and the sea

The Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea are where the storms are developed. The coastline of India is vulnerable to storms. The weatherologists give various names to the storms as Hugo, Rita, and others.

The sea begins to move once the cyclone is formed. The thunder clouds are about 30 kilometres from the centre of the storm. If a storm moves over land, it will no longer receive heat energy and moist from the warm water.

A cyclone is known in different parts of the world. It is a storm in the American continent. It is called a typhoon in the Philippines and Japan.

The water is lifted in the centre by the low pressure in the eye. The water may be as high as 12 m and appears to be a water-wall moving towards the shore. The seawater entering the low-lying coastal areas can cause a lot of damage, including destroying roads and railway tracks, washing away vehicles, damaging houses, and causing a lot of death and destruction.

The soil is infertile because of the cyclone. There is enough time for residents to prepare and evacuate. When a storm is close to the coast, the message about the storm is broadcasted over the ratio every hour or half hour.
