The Weather Channel on X-rays

The show hosted by Mike Bettes on The Weather Channel is on from 5 to 8 pm.

The Counterculture Movement of the 1960s

The counterculture movement of the 1960s was one of the most important moments in American history. The student-led revolution started in the 1950s, when the country was relatively prosperous and peace was restored after the depression. The younger generation saw things differently. They saw the decade as a time of "complacency, stagnation, and authoritarianism" and one that continued the oppression of African Americans.

The FBI

The FBI had bureaucratic interests and imperatives that fostered a disproportionate effort to eradicate the group. The FBI never caught a single major Weatherman figure.

Water in the Air

Even if you can't see it, the air is full of water. The best example of condensation is the big, fluffy clouds floating over your head. When the water droplets in the clouds combine, they form heavy droplets that can rain on your head.

You don't have to look far away to see condensation. The fog is caused by condensation, for example, when you go from a cold room to the outdoors on a hot, humid day, for the water that drips off the outside of your glass of iced tea, and for the water on the inside of the windows in your house. The arrangement of water molecule is indicative of the phase change that accompanies water as it moves.

The water in the vapor form is arranged differently than in liquid water. As the water in the vapor becomes more organized, it becomes easier for the heat to escape into the atmosphere. Sailors have known for a long time about the patterns and persistence of jet contrails for weather forecasting.

On days when the contrails don't form, they can expect good weather, while on days where they do form, a change in the weather pattern may be expected. Climate studies are concerned with the possibility of increased jet traffic causing an increase in cloud cover. There are several studies being conducted on the impact of contrail formation climates.

The climate of the planet is affected by the reflection of incoming sunlight and the suppression of heat loss from the surface. Clouds are caused by condensation. A cloud is a mass of watery vapor floating in the air above the ground.

The Rosenberg Story

The story of Susan Rosenberg should put to rest any questions about whether Black Lives Matter has ideological ties to the Communist terrorists of the 1960s.
