Free Talk and Text in the Mobile App Store
All of the plans on the mobile platform come with free talk and text. You can either pay by the gig or unlimited. There are three different By the Gig plan categories.
Xfinity Mobile: A Phone for Unlocked Data
The By the Gig plan is available for single lines or the data can be shared across all of the lines on your account. Taxes and fees are included with all plans. If you need more data, you should switch to the cheaper $30 for 3 or $60 for 10 gigabytes plan.
During the middle of your billing cycle, you can make changes to your plan. You can still read emails and browse the web, but there may be buffering when you stream video or music. There are no limits on the speed of the By the Gig plan.
Most of the phones that are sold by Xfinity Mobile are the latest ones, but there are a few options for under $200. If you want a Truly UnLocked phone, then you should. You lose out on credits from cellphone companies if you buy an unlocked phone from Apple.
Flex Box: A Budget Friendly Internet-TV Bundle
If you have a tight budget and you have an internet-TV bundle with an option like the Flex box, you could go for it.
X1 Voice Remote is the Same as TV
The X1 Voice Remote will be the same regardless of which version you get. The button layout is similar to other remotes, but there are some differences. The X1 remote has a button that skips forward five minutes, but the 30-second skip button is missing.
The company released a new version of the remote and a feature update that allows you to skip forward at any time you want. The old Xfinity TV app was replaced by Stream. Most of the functions of the app are only available at home, meaning that you will only be able to use the app at home.

You can record 30 episodes of The Office, 30 episodes of Family Feud, 20 episodes of The Murder Tapes, 10 soccer games, and 28 movies.
The X1 TV DVR
The X1 is a small device. It has a user-friendly interface, excellent voice remote, and more integrated streaming apps than other DVRs. It has a mobile app that allows you to access your live channels, on-demand content, cloud DVR recordings, and subscription streaming apps on your mobile devices.
If you download the app for both the iPad and the phone, you can use it to control your TV system. The app can recognize voice commands. You can search for shows by text or voice, and the X1 system will show results for live airings, reruns, on-demand titles, and DVR recordings.
You can narrow your search by selecting categories. You can record up to six shows at once with the X1 DVR. You can order additional boxes for additional TVs in your home, and use them to schedule, watch, or remove recordings from the master X1 unit.
The Average Download Speed of the Internet Service
As of October, the average download speed for the internet service is 150 to 250 Mbps. Gig services have download internet speeds of up to 2,000 Mbps, if you live in the right area. You can enter your address on the site to see what services are available in your area.

xFi Advanced Cybersecurity
Customers who lease an xFi gateway will be able to get xFi Advanced Cybersecurity, which offers additional security protections for your network.
